Chocolate Fudge Brownie
Chocolate fudge brownie is an extremely famous dessert and is usually served with ice cream of choice with various dessert sauce toppings.
- Flour- 100 gm
- Powder Sugar-150 gm
- Butter Unsalted-100 gm
- Eggs – 3 no’s
- Dark Chocolate- 150 gm
- Vanilla Essence- 5 ml
- Baking Powder- 2 gm
- Almonds/Walnuts- 50 gm
- Dark Chocolate-50 gm
- Fresh Cream- 50 gm
- Chocolate Flakes-25 gm
Chocolate fudge brownie Method:
1.Melt dark chocolate on a double boiler and keep aside.Whisk egg with vanilla essence a little.Sieve flour with baking powder.
2.Cream Unsalted butter and powder sugar.Add slightly beaten egg little by little and continue creaming.Once all the egg is incorporated add melted chocolate and mix well.
3.Now add flour and baking powder mixtue ,fold in gently along with almonds/walnuts.
4.Transfer this brownie mixture to a lined tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180c for about 25 mts.Once baked remove from the oven allow to sit in the baking tray for 10mts.Then transfer the brownie to a cooling rack.
Heat fresh cream and dark chocolate together to make the truffle.Once the truffle is cooled down pour it on brownie and sprinkle with chocolate flakes.
Chocolate fudge brownie Making Tips:
To Make the brownie more fudgy you can add 100 gm’s of chocolate truffle in the recipe along with melted chocolate.Do not cream butter and powder sugar too much as it will incorporate more air and turns brownie texture like a sponge cake.You can add either almonds ( my personal favourite) or walnuts depending on your preference though walnut is traditionally added.
In case of storing in refrigerator, make sure to store in a air tight container as chocolate can easily absorb other flavours .
